Thought I'd share with everyone the highlights of my summer (: which begins on June 1, 2012
This is a bit late, but I hope everyone will enjoy these photos and my blog (:
9 hour flight to Tokyo International Airport, even though I will be at the airport only and will not have chance to explore Japan, it is still an exciting thing for me <3

<-- and at last we arririve!
I will need to spend the next 4 hours within the airport, Browsing over-priced shops isn't so bad, actually <3

so even if everything is expensive... I coudln't go "home" empty handed... so I buy a box of mochi (1000yen) and a box of chocolate(1500)yen
heres to the 4 hour flight to Beijing!
It was raining very hard outside, but the workers are still working hard for our flight (:

HighLights:
I arrive at Beijing (: I've never been here before, actually, so this is really exciting!
I was able to meet up with many family members who I have not seen for at least 5 years now, I wonder if everyone is doing well...
We were able to talk over lunch, But I don't think i was able to say much x'D
At night, I was took to a place where the buildings are traditional; but the inside is modern and perfect to sell things, the lights are very pretty! — at 北京琉璃厂古文化街. This is where the buildiings are recreated from the buildings from Ancient China, and made into a tourist shopping street. It is around TianAnMen square , if I am not mistake

Of course, It wouldn't be Beijing without going to the Emperor's Palace or the TianAnMen square (: Its much bigger and more tiring than the photos seems, its hot but there is no sunshine visible. "Death rays", I'd call it T_T
Apparently, the palace cannot be fully explored even within a day time, we were able to only cover not even 1/4 of it after around 5 hours...

Beijing National Musieum , with air tight security system
i was forced to drink the water i brought to make sure it wasnt poisonous xD
Q: i wonder what would happen if i pretended to choke right when i drink it?
A: I would be arrested.

Zoo. I want to feed giraffe and see that shy bird <3

Millitary Musieum, I was actually excited to see the uniforms and weapons, but only tanks and transporation displays were avaliable that day

meeting some cousins that I have no memories of, we go to Tangshan (: everyone was welcoming.

From Tangshan, we went to the "wild" Great Wall. It is not the reconstructed one from Beijing, this one is completely left alone from the past, just rotting away. Full of taste ! much more experience than the rebuilt one. We climbed the actual mountain, leaving my body scarred and aching~

We are at a very high place right now.
It would have been great to shout something, but I could only stare at the world below in silence....
JiLin- My mother tells me stories about her time spent in this place a lot. It felt kind of nostaligic to me (:

well, majority of the summer was really spent at "home". The main goal was to visit my grandparents since they were becoming old, so I think we managed to achieve it~
Time for a flight back ^^ It's sad for me not to be able to call this place my home anymore...
(I'm going to miss the airplane food. I happen to enjoy those o_o)

Almost landing (:
Shut off all electronics please

Thank you for reading!

the palace is even more unbelievable in person!
this was my first trip in around 6 years?
my last trip before this one was around 6 years ago
